Oral Cancer in the world is more pressing. Dentists/Oral Physician and General Physicians in some countries have to work under constraints of poor resources and lack of access to diagnostic aids. They, therefore, of necessity require a more exhaustive training in clinical skills and a sharper clinical acumen than their counterparts more frequently placed. The present text book is primarily aimed to fulfil this need.
The third edition of this book covers a broad spectrum of the subject related to diagnostic aids in oral cancer and brief details about Oral Mucosal Lessons. This may help in understanding the basis of diagnosis in oral cancer and oral mucosal lesions. The language of book is simple and subject matter is clearly understandable even by an average student. Extensive use of well labelled colour photographs has been incorporated. Photographs have been collected from various sources. The intention is specifically to benefit students and people in general so as to gain a better understanding of the material presented. It is difficult to present such a material without consulting the other books. Although every effort has been made to preserve the copyright of different authours, any similarity in this regard is gracefully apologised.
